Privacy policy

Without an account
- Scorra works without signing in. Your games, players and settings are stored only on your phone, in the app.
- Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. There are no adverts and no tracking.
If you sign in
- Signing in is optional and uses your Google or Apple account. The sign-in service receives your name and email address from them, and from Google your profile picture. With Apple you can choose to hide your real email address. Scorra uses only the email address, to show which account is signed in.
- Your games, the players you have named, your own saved games and a few settings are copied to a database so they can follow you between devices. Only you can read them.
- The sign-in service and the database are run for Scorra by Supabase, and the data is held in London, in the UK.
Groups
- If you create or join a group, its other members can see the name you give yourself there, and every game, player and saved game in that group. They cannot see your own games outside it.
- Anyone with a group’s invite code can join it. The group’s owner can change the code and remove members.
- Leaving a group removes its games from your device. Games you added stay with the group for its other members.
Sharing by link
- When you share a result or a game by link, the scores and names are packed into the link itself. They are not stored anywhere by Scorra, and anyone you send the link to can see them.
The website
- playscorra.com has no adverts, no tracking and no cookies. A shared game opened there is read from its link in your browser, and is not sent to Scorra.
Your choices
- You can save a copy of everything as a file at any time, from Settings.
- You can delete your account from Settings. That removes your account and the cloud copy of your data straight away. What is on your device stays until you delete it there.
- Signing out leaves the data on your device untouched.
